Levels of window cleaning
LEVEL 1: GENERAL WASH
This involves washing the windows with soapy water and removing it with a squeegee. It also includes wiping down the sills after the windows have been cleaned. This is a regular maintenance clean.
LEVEL 2: PARTIAL SCRAPE
This involves a Level 1 clean plus removing building residue from the windows but does not involve straightening and trimming paint from the edges.
LEVEL 3: FULL SCRAPE
This involves a Level 2 clean plus trimming paint from window edges. Usually done to new buildings and restorations.
LEVEL 4: STAIN REMOVAL
This involves a level 1 clean plus the removal of hard water staining from the glass. The glass is chemically treated. A test area can be done to determine results. (Some etching may be permanent).
